Seeing and hearing are connected like a seesaw, and they are interchangeable. The mutual information transmission between audio and vision creates an field available for imagination. This auditory suppression effect on visual perception frequently occurred when the perceptual input is presented in a spatially and temporally consistent manner.

I use a display screen a speaker to make an installation constructing the information space composed of auditory output and vision. The scrolling text on the screen are the lines of the musical "The Wedding of Figaro", and the speaker plays the corresponding music synchronously. The sound creates a dome-like space, and the viewer stands between the screen and the speaker, facing the screen. The viewer is a convergent subject, and the rolling lines are the most direct visual transmission. When manipulated by the vague information conveyed to people by the sound dome, they reach the the boundaries of perception of self.

I also made some drawings to record the visual images that come out of my mind when listening to a piece of opera music, associating the manipulation of sound with the awareness of vision in a planar dimension.
